After looking for some information I found that research has shown that the withdrawal method of contraception isn’t as useless as we all think it is. There is a common perception that using withdrawal (or “pulling out” as it’s referred to) is as good as doing nothing, but most of us know that, in fact, this isn’t true — it’s worked for most of us at least once, if not on a regular basis. Taking hormones and using condoms or diaphragms doesn’t work well for everyone for a variety of reasons, making the withdrawal method, in reality, a reasonably attractive option for many.
The 2008 research paper published in a recent edition of Contraception magazine shows that withdrawal is only 2% less effective than condoms. Condoms have a 2% failure rate, withdrawal has 4%. However, the real problems start when condoms, or withdrawal, are not used correctly, bringing the total realistic failure rate up to almost 20%. In saying all this, done properly, withdrawal is now a scientifically proved, reasonably reliable, contraception method for adults in trusting sexual or romantic relationships. However, it isn’t called coitus interruptus for no reason: Pulling out interrupts the flow of sex, and some people might find this unappealing. However, you can but try.
Keep in mind that some positions are better than others for executing this maneuver as they allow easy removal of the penis, and can provide some nice visuals — you get to squirt your stuff on breasts, buttocks and bellies, and enjoy this aspect of lovemaking as well as feeling more secure in your choice of birth control.

i agree with maxwell, and because of that i will make a man wear a condom, i do not want some snotty nose crying child running behind me as if i don’t have a life to live. some of us are not cut out to be parents. Well I’ve been using the pull out method for 2 years with not one problem or scare (on my women). Of course nothing is fool proof not even condoms. The chances of getting pregnant by pre cum are highly unlikely and top that off with the fact that women can only get pregnant 2 days out the month. Trey i’m a a former nurse and medical school student about to get my PHD and i’ll be the first to tell you as a woman you got lucky in those two years you tried the pull out method. like i said before i was pregnant because my fiance at the time thought the pull out method would work and it didn’t, i was only 21 at the time and although i was financially stable at such a young age do to a trust fund from my parents i still did not want a child. I have the studies and statistics that state more than a quarter million women across the country get pregnant from pre-ejaculatory semem. men don’t always know it’s going to happen as they don’t always feel it coming.

Personally, the pull out method is for those who are in a relationship and know there will be a possibilty of pregnancy being that you are using this method of birth control. You just can’t be using the pull-out method with Reggie, the dude from outta town you met last night in the club.
