Spring 2010 footwear seems to mark a definite departure from the hard , edgy aesthetic of the past seasons into something lighter and definitely more playful like clogs and espadrilles. In essence the resurgence of these silhouettes could even be a new interpretation of the heritage-y trend that is slowly making its way into the women’s market . Pura Lopez’s interpretation of these styles is of course flawless in that the silhouettes are sleek , never bulky and of course expertly crafted in her native Spain.
For the second time already we see Pharrell Williams getting into furniture design – this time he presents the Tank Chair. The Tank Chair comes in overall 4 colorways and is made of plexiglas and full grain colt leather. The chair will be on display at the Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin next week during Art Basel Miami.
